Originally created back in 2002 as EMS Associates, training consisted of CPR and first aid training to local business and emergency service organizations. As time progressed, additional training requests started coming for more classes. These classes ranged from emergency medical service (EMS) courses, general industrial safety courses and advanced medical care courses for adult and pediatric populations. With the new courses added it did not reflect the true name of the business anymore and the name was changed to Emergency Training Center, LLC.

Over time, more courses have been offered which include several firefighting courses, monthly EMS and firefighter continuing education courses, trauma and pediatric emergency care courses through the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and the continuation of courses from American Heart Association (AHA). Emergency Training Center, LLC has added a large selection of safety classes for business and industry clients.

Emergency Training Center, LLC has a large presence throughout the Midwest at local businesses, schools, hospitals, emergency service organizations and industrial settings. We have been asked to present at several local, regional, and State fire and EMS conferences throughout the Midwest. We also have partnerships with several local community colleges, state firefighter training academies, and hospitals to assist with their educational needs.

All the instructional staff with Emergency Training Center, LLC have several years of experience in emergency medical services, fire service, nursing, and other healthcare backgrounds. Many of the instructors hold multiple instructor certifications such as EMS instructor endorsement, fire instructor, multiple American Heart Association instructor status (many held Regional Faculty status, before it was retired by AHA), TNCC/ENPC Course director, etc).
